Comment:

In this example a photo-merge a slightly more complex procedure of photo-merge was preformed to produce the final photo.

 

To create this image several sections from different source images were used. Each of the sections was extracted from their source image and then was then placed over the base image.

In conjunction with the photo-merge areas a combination of standard image manipulation techniques was used to the remove the other unwanted sections and blend the new sections in seamlessly with the base image.

 

It is not a perfect world and not all photo shoots can go as successful as we hope.  As in this case the day was salvaged by using post editing techniques to remove the hands of the parent’s hands which were unavoidably in shot to support the children to get the desired posture for the picture they wanted.

 

It would have been nice to add a little more to right hand side of the composition by completing the arm of the child on the right, but there was not a suitable source image to do so.
